MASE in Your Mailbox - June 26, 2026

CASE News, MASE News,

From the Executive Director,
Erin Toninato:

Past, Present, Future ProgressLooking Ahead

As we continue looking ahead to the coming school year, I want to share two exciting updates that reflect MASE's ongoing commitment to advocacy and supporting our members.

First, MASE has joined a growing coalition of education organizations participating in Minnesota Kids Rise, an initiative originally launched through the Minnesota School Boards Association. The campaign highlights the incredible work happening every day in Minnesota's public schools while encouraging communities to celebrate, support, and advocate for public education. I encourage you to take a few minutes to learn more and explore the resources available through Minnesota Kids Rise.

Second, we're excited to announce that MASE has partnered with Rosedahl Public Affairs to expand and strengthen our Minnesota Day at the Capitol. Their team will support members from beginning to end—including scheduling appointments with legislators, providing meeting space at the Capitol, coordinating logistics, and helping you feel prepared for your legislative visits. Our goal is simple: remove barriers, make participation easier, and continue growing the number of MASE members who lend their voices to this important day of advocacy.

Both efforts are just getting underway, and we'll continue sharing updates and opportunities to get involved as they develop. I hope you'll consider joining us as we continue to strengthen MASE's advocacy efforts on behalf of students, educators, and special education leaders across Minnesota.

We will not send a MIYM next week as many of us take time to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday. I hope you have the opportunity to spend time with family and friends, enjoy a little summer, and take some time to recharge. Wishing you and your families a safe and happy Fourth of July!

As always...thank you for all you do.
