Blue Ribbon Commission Report Released

The 2025 Minnesota Legislature charged MDE with convening a Blue Ribbon Commission on Special Education to advise and assist the Legislature and governor in transforming special education services.

The Commission has now published its report: Blue Ribbon Commission on Special Education: Report to the Minnesota Legislature. The report contains details of the Commission’s recommendations and more information about its work and decision-making process.
