As a learning organization, MASE continually strives to provide quality professional learning opportunities to all our members.  If you have a suggestion or request for an upcoming conference, Slice Session, New Leaders Topic or any other learning opportunity that would be of benefit to you and other MASE members, please share it below and we will work to include it in our professional learning opportunities!

The "Slice of Collaboration" is supporting your preparations for the upcoming school year. The focus of the conversations will be on our members who deliver services and supports to students with disabilities each and every day. We also look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with MDE. 

We have set up a structure that we hope will allow communication between the department and our members while keeping the focus on life in the school districts. During our first call of the month, we encourage you to identify questions or comments that could be addressed by the department. During the second call of the month, representatives from the department will be invited to take the first half hour to address those questions or comments. 

The time will also allow the department the opportunity to share information and seek input from you.

MDE may also organize a similar meeting on their own and is willing to be part of other practitioner conversations such as those related to delivering services and supports in settings 3 and 4. Additionally, you can expect communication regarding potential Directors Forums.
