MASE in Your Mailbox - June 6, 2025

MASE News,

Wishing You All A Great Summer Break!

As the school year wraps up, thank you for your incredible work and the difference you continue to make. I hope you find time this summer to relax, reflect, and recharge—you’ve earned it!

Behind the scenes, many meetings have been taking place with incoming staff as we prepare for a smooth transition. As you know, beginning July 1, MASE will be supported by some new faces. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to the staff we’ve known, I assure you that the new team is eager to support MASE and help us grow.

I’m especially grateful for the support from MASA staff and the knowledge they’ve shared to ensure nothing is missed in this process. On a personal level, thank you to those who have reached out just to check in — your support during this transition means so much.

As plans become more final, I’ll keep you updated and will be sharing staff introductions soon!

A quick reminder: Membership registration will open around August 1, but your current membership will remain active without interruption. If you are a joint MASE/MASA member, you will be receiving renewal information from MASA soon!

Enjoy your summer break, and as always… thank you for all you do!

*If you were unable to attend the MDE Forum today, be sure to watch it when the recording is available. MDE provided many updates. The hot topics of OFPs and Paraprofessional qualifications were addressed. What we heard should help clarify some of the questions that you have had. Written guidance for OFPs and an FAQ for paraprofessionals should be coming soon!
