Presentation Guidelines

PowerPoint Template

Download the PPT Template (also available in the Resource Center). Presentations and handouts are due May 1, 2026. Display format: 16:9.

Materials

Materials are a valued feature of our program. Handouts from the session provide analysis on a number of important topics and serve as valuable reference/resource materials after the program.

  • PowerPoint: A collection of presentation slides that support a presenter’s presentation by allowing the learners to focus on the key points that they will flesh out in their talk.
  • Handouts: These less formal written materials can be distributed as a supplement to the registrants and used as a teaching tool. Examples include flow charts, tables, graphs, fact patterns, precedents, forms, checklists, practice points and speaker’s notes.

In addition to supporting the session itself at the conference, the program materials become a valuable resource on the MASE website, both for attendees to reference later and for those members not able to attend the conference in person.

Please make sure all materials are easy to read, comprehensive, and attractive visually. Consider bolding or using other graphic features to draw attention to important points and utilize bullet points when necessary, as an effective way of relaying information concisely.
